SolaX Power Brings Clean Energy and Community Spirit to SV Bommern 05

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, SolaX Power has donated a complete energy storage system to SV Bommern 05, a historic sports club located in Witten, Germany. The system will help the club achieve more sustainable and efficient operations, ensuring reliable clean energy for its facilities.

Kevin Großkreutz, Borussia Dortmund legend, took part in the project's local activities and emphasized the shared value of teamwork, community, and social responsibility between Borussia Dortmund and SolaX Power.

Founded in 1905, SV Bommern 05 is renowned for its commitment to nurturing young athletes and promoting community engagement, serving as a strong symbol of local sports culture in the region.

This donation not only provides clean and stable energy for the club but also reflects SolaX Power’s dedication to driving sustainable development through innovation in renewable energy and intelligent energy storage technologies.

A Sustainable Power Solution for the Future

The newly installed system includes:

• 58 solar panels

• 1 × X3-ULTRA-25K (AFCI) inverter

• T30 energy storage system with 2 × MC0600 BMS and 5 × HV10230 V2 batteries

Based on the club’s energy demand, the 15 kW storage capacity now powers the entire facility — from hot water boilers in the shower rooms to the floodlight system for evening training sessions. The setup ensures 100% renewable operation, reducing energy costs and allowing the club to reinvest savings into youth training and community activities.

The success of this project was made possible through the joint efforts of multiple partners. At its core, SolaX Power provided a high-performance energy storage system, laying a solid foundation for the project’s implementation.

LILUX GmbH and its Managing Director Linus Geppert offered full support throughout the process. As the main project coordinator, Linus not only initiated the collaboration with SV Bommern 05 Sports Club, but also provided professional assistance in system planning and on-site installation, ensuring the project’s smooth execution from start to finish.

Mrs. Kiki Burckhardt, Managing Director of SV Bommern 05 Sports Club, also offered invaluable support. She actively facilitated site coordination and construction logistics, ensuring the installation went smoothly and the project stayed on schedule. Upon completion, she shared:
