Breakthrough! SolaX Smart PV-Energy Storage System Won the First Prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award of 2020

On June 15, the 2020 Zhejiang Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People of Zhejiang Province. The first prize of Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Progress Award of 2020 went to the “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Grid-Source-Friendly Smart Photovoltaic-Energy Storage System”, which was jointly developed by SolaX Power Network Technology(Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Energy Group Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, and CPI Ronghe Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. This is a huge technological breakthrough achieved by SolaX Power in the field of distributed energy storage systems due to its commitment to technological innovation and the spirit of persistence.

Considering the problem of power grid impact and PV consumption, which are caused by the large total demands, large differences in monomers, high level of discretization, and complexity of Source-network-load&storage coordinated control. Multiple corporations including industrial, academical and research institutes worked together and overcame the difficulties, broke through the grid-source interaction technical problems under the conditions of massive decentralized configuration, such as cluster response dispatching, power regulating performance, and grid impact under multi-mode operation. The corporations successfully developed a smart energy storage system that is able to achieve grid-sources friendly interaction under complex grid conditions. The energy storage system has not only greatly improved the capacity of PV consumption and grid support, but also achieved a technological breakthrough in the photovoltaic energy storage system.
