SolaX Feature In BBC Screening Of The Christmas Lectures

SolaX Royal Institution Lectures

The SolaX X-Hybrid battery storage inverter has recently featured at the Royal Institution Lectures 2016, screened on the BBC on Boxing Day.

The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures are a series of lectures which have been held at the Royal Institution in London each year since 1825, and first featured on TV in 1936. The lectures present scientific subjects to a general audience, including young people, in an informative and entertaining manner. Michael Faraday initiated the first Christmas Lecture series in 1825. This came at a time when organised education for young people was scarce. The television screenings of the lectures are said to attract in excess of 4 million viewers.

SolaX featured in the first of three episodes screened over Christmas.  In a lecture entitled ‘Fueling For The Future’, they explored the future of renewable and sustainable energy.  The video is a small segment focusing on the power of solar energy.

Featured is our X-Hybird inverter connected to an LG Chem RESU 6.5 battery.
